Working tests are held for Retrievers and Spaniels at Novice and Open standard, and for puppies. The Club tests are held under Kennel Club rules and regulations.

We actively encourage young handlers and new handlers at these events.

	Working tests are designed to simulate real situations that are found in the field on a shooting day but do not involve live game. They are always great fun and provide a valuable opportunity for the less experienced handler to enter into competition. Whatever the outcome, much will be learned and new friends made.

The events are always very sociable and attract lots of participants who enjoy the opportunity of working their dogs during the summer and enjoying a picnic in a wonderful countryside setting.
